Division Two

The Walton team consisted of three of our up and coming junior and Waikato Representatives, Rhys Wilcock, Kyle Storey and Kerian Dench along with some experienced members of the team Andrew McGiven, John Higgens, Kevin Braybrook, Tony Richards and Myke Dearnley. The guys have done really well this season by winning every round and were the Round Robin winners. The final for Division Two, Four and Six was to be played last Sunday 24^th at Walton. The Division Two final was Walton against Thames, after the morning foursomes both teams had gained 1.5 points each so the teams were still all square. However the weather did not go as planned and turned worse by the afternoon and play was suspended due to the greens being flooded, play was then canceled. The final will now be played at a later date, with the morning foursomes still counting.
